Margaret Petreshock Obituary
Margaret Petreshock of Deer Run died Friday, January 3, 2025 at the Health Alliance Hospital, Mary's Ave. Born July 14, 1942 in Brooklyn she was the youngest daughter of the late Mary and Thomas Frokedal. Before retiring she was employed by Stamen Building Materials in Nesconset, NY as an assistant bookkeeper. Margaret was an avid knitter, Dallas Cowboys fan, loved Jeopardy, enjoyed spending time cooking and playing games with friends and family. Survivors include her four children, Thomas of Kingston, NY, Jean and her husband, John Harding of Medford, NY, James and his wife, Michelle of Owenton, KY and John and his wife Marilyn of Highland, NY; thirteen grandchildren; five great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband, Nicholas M. Petreshock; her brother George Frokedal and her sister Christine Kronau.
Her Funeral Procession will form 9:30 am Thursday at the Seamon-Wilsey Funeral Home, Inc. Cor. of John & Lafayette Sts., thence to St. Mary of the Snow where at 10:00 AM a Mass of Christian Burial will be offered. Burial will follow in St. Mary's Cemetery. Friends will be received Wednesday 2-4 and 7-9 PM. Family suggests donations in her memory be made to the American Cancer Society.
