Margaret "Peggy" M. (Wade) Kolano

SAUGERTIES......Margaret M. “Peggy” Kolano, 80, of Treis Terrace died Saturday, March 18, 2023 at her residence surrounded by her family. Born August 4, 1942 in Patterson, NJ she was the daughter of the late Robert and Peg Wade.
A lifetime area resident Peggy was a graduate of Saugerties High School Class of 1961. She was employed at Ferroxcube where she was a member of its Pioneer Club, later she was employed at Gateway Industries, Ulster County Dept. of the Office for the Ageing, the Ivy Lodge, Clermont Apt. Complex and was an Ombudsman for Ulster County. She was also an active life member of the Saugerties Fire Dept. Ladies Auxiliary where she served as its treasurer.
Predeceased by her beloved husband, Jack, survivors include her siblings: Barbara Dargan of Saugerties, Joan (Bob) Clausi of E. Kingston, Robert (Janet) Wade, Jr. of NC., and Dotty (Bill) Mergendahl of Saugerties; her nieces and nephews: Jake (Brenda), Tracey (Trey), David (Mia) Dargan, Cissy (Dave), Andrea and Elaine Clausi, Chad, Meghan (James), Brianne (Eric), Chris (Jenn) Wade; many great nieces and nephews as well as her dearest great nieces Amya and Maggie Wade. She was predeceased by Jackie Ferris, Michael Dargan, Jenna Wade, Colleen Wade and Dan Dargan.
Her Funeral Procession will form 10 AM Friday at the Seamon-Wilsey Funeral Home, Inc. Cor. of John & Lafayette Sts., Saugerties thence to St. Mary of the Snow RC Church where at 10:30 AM a Mass of Christian Burial will be offered. Burial will follow in St. Mary’s Cemetery. Friends will be received on Thursday from 4-8 PM. A memorial Tribute Book will be organized using condolences and photos shared with the family at SeamonWilseyFuneralHome.com
