SAUGERTIES….. Martha J. Peters, 88, of 155 Main St. died Wednesday, March 29, 2023 at the Ten Broeck Commons Nursing Home. Born December 22, 1934 in West Hurley she was the daughter of the late Ralph and Evelyn Nelson. A lifetime area resident, she was predeceased by her husband, Robert J. “Biff” Peters in 2011 and her son, Robert Peters, Jr. Survivors include her daughter, Donna and her husband, Michael Allen of Saugerties; her son, Jeffrey and his wife Ann Peters of FL; sister, Sharon Schick, six grandchildren, several great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
Her Funeral Service will be held 10:00 AM Saturday at the Seamon-Wilsey Funeral Home, Inc. Cor. of John & Lafayette Sts., Saugerties. Burial will follow in St. Mary’s Cemetery. Friends will be received Friday 7:00PM-9:00 PM. A memorial Tribute Book will be organized using photos and condolences shared with the family at SeamonWilseyFuneralHome.com
