Mary Lou Dengler, 88, of Churchland Rd. died Saturday at Westchester Medical Center. Born December 29, 1936 in Kingston she was the daughter of the late George and Mary Wood. A lifetime area resident, Mary Lou had worked at Ferroxcube for over 25 years followed by a career with the Town of Saugerties. She was a dispatcher for the Police Dept. followed by becoming the Administrative Assistant of the Town Highway Dept.
She was a faithful and lifelong parishioner of St. John the Evangelist RC Church and member of the church Rosary Society. She was a member of the VFW Auxillary.
Survivors include her son, Thomas J. "Dinger" and his wife, Sandy Dengler and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband Thomas J. Dengler, Sr. and siblings, Margaret Schoenbacher, Mildred Sperl, George, William and John Wood.
Her Funeral Procession will form 9:30 AM Thursday at the Seamon-Wilsey Funeral Home, Inc. Cor. of John & Lafayette Sts., thence to St. Mary of the Snow RC Church where at 10:00 AM a Mass of Christian Burial will be offered. Burial will follow in Blue Mt. Cemetery.
