Maryann Fabiano Schaffer

SAUGERTIES - Maryann Fabiano Schaffer, 63, of Burt St. died Thursday, March 20, 2025 at her residence surrounded by her family.   Born September 29, 1961 in Kingston she was the daughter of the late Anthony and Amelia Mauro Fabiano.  A lifetime area resident Maryann was a graduate of Saugerties High School and Ulster County Community College.   She was employed for many years as the Executive Director of the Ivy Lodge on Main St. in Saugerties.   She was a member of the American Legion Auxillary.

Predeceased by her husband, Donald "Buddy" Schaffer, survivors  include her daughter, Marissa Schaffer of Saugerties; son-in-law, Joshua Bell; grandson, Joshua Donald Bell, Jr; a sister, Louise and her husband Steve Wilson of Mauldin, SC; brother, Philip Fabiano of Ladson, SC and a sister-in-law, Susan Snyder of Saugerties.

Her Memorial Service will be held 10:00 AM Thursday at the Seamon-Wilsey Funeral Home, Inc., Cor. of John & Lafayette Sts., Saugerties.   Interment will follow in the Trinity Cemetery.   Friends will be received on Wednesday 2-4 and 7-9 PM.   Expressions of condolence may be shared with the family on Maryann Tribute Wall at SeamonWilseyFuneralHome.com
