A memorial for Michael Strong will be held Saturday, May 25th, 2024 at Elvedal (Sons of Norway), Patch Road, Saugerties, NY at 2 PM. For those without GPS, Patch Road in Saugerties is between Rt. 212 (off of Fish Creek) and Glasgow Turnpike.
Please feel free to bring something to read, sing, perform or share.
Elvedal is a semi-forested area with an open air covered platform and picnic tables. There are rest rooms and very light refreshments will be served. It is usually several degrees colder than the surrounding area because it is on the banks of a small stream. Insect repellent is advisable. The drive from the road is semi-paved so you should drive slowly. There will be balloons to mark the entrance.
If you have questions, please call 845-246-6264 or e-mail.
Looking forward to seeing you in the spirit of spring, the forest and Michael’s memory, best, as ever, Christina
