Michael William Voerg, Sr.

SAUGERTIES - Michael W. Voerg, Sr., 65 of Brink Rd., died Sunday, February 16, 2025 at his residence. He was born in Kingston on July 2, 1959 to the late Vincent and Alice Longendyke Voerg. He was employed with Central Hudson for over 25 years, retiring as a lineman. He enjoyed the outdoors, hunting and fishing. He loved watching all of the wildlife that surrounded his home. Mike enjoyed the freedom and thrill of motorcycles, having a passion for his Harley Davidson's over the years. He had a unique sense of humor and was always trying to make everyone laugh. Most of all, he loved spending time with his family and especially his young grandchildren that would light up his face as he watched them from the sidelines of their various sporting events. 

Survivors include his daughter, Heather Voerg; two sons, Michael (Kayleigh) Voerg and Steven (Hannah) Voerg; two sisters, Bonnie (Wayne) Brocco and Nancy Brontoli; his brother, Timothy (Patty) Voerg; two grandchildren Grayson and Jameson and sister in law, Patti Maisch Voerg. He was predeceased by his brother Gary and nephew Aaron Brontoli.

His Funeral Service will be held 10 AM Saturday at the Seamon-Wilsey Funeral Home Inc. Burial will follow in the Blue Mt. Cemetery. Visitation will be held Friday from 6-8 PM. Further obituary information and expressions of condolence may be shared with the family at SeamonWilseyFuneralHome.com
