SAUGERTIES…Mildred (Millie) J. Sheffield, 68, of County Route 49, West Monroe, NY passed away Monday June 5, 2023. Born August 25, 1955, in Kingston NY, she was the daughter of late John Sheffield and Estella Barley. She is predeceased by her son John Anthony Sheffield, her father and mother, and brother John Sheffield Jr. Survivors include her sister Margaret Krom (Kenneth Krom), brother Harry Sheffield (Rose Sheffield), Donald Quick (Mary Quick), and Ernie Quick (Robin Quick). Her 3 grandchildren, as well as her many nieces and nephews. Also survived by many great nieces and nephews as well as cousins and other loving family members.
Millie was a graduate of Balston Spa High School. She loved scratch offs and casinos.
Millie was known to make jokes and make everyone around her laugh, and her beautiful soul with a heart full of love for all. The impact on her family was immeasurable.
Her Funeral Service will be held Thursday at 6:30 pm at the Seamon-Wilsey Funeral Home, Inc. John St., Saugerties. Visitation will be prior to service from 5-6:30 pm. A Memorial Tribute Book will be organized using photos and condolences shared at SeamonWilseyFuneralHome.com
