Nancy Genthner Obituary
SAUGERTIES - Nancy J. Genthner, 90, of Fishcreek Rd., died Sunday, March 3, 2024 at the Tenbroeck Commons Nursing Home. A special thanks to the nurses and staff providing care for her over the years. She was born in Kingston on February 19, 1934 to the late Henry and Mildred Hardy Myer. Nancy was a life member and past officer of the Centerville Fire Dept. Auxiliary. She enjoyed camping and going on various cruises. An animal lover, she had a special place in her heart for her dogs, cats and watching the birds.
Survivors include her son, Paul (Dona) Genthner of Saugerties; daughter, Marcia (Terri) Genthner of Palenville; foster son, Wayne VanHusden of CO; grandchildren, Rebecca (Marcus) Genthner Wilson, Paul Genthner and Hannah VanHusden and great grandchildren, Marcus Wilson and Wesley Wilson. She was predeceased by her husband, Glenford Genthner, Jr. in 2001.
Her Funeral Service will be held 10 AM Friday at the Seamon-Wilsey Funeral Home, Saugerties. Burial will follow in the Mt. View Cemetery. Visitation will be held 4-7 PM Thursday. Condolences may be shared with the family at SeamonWilseyFuneralHome.com
