Nancy Walthers Obituary
SAUGERTIES - Nancy A. Walthers, 76, of Rte. 32, died Sunday, June 15, 2025 at the Northern Dutchess Hospital, Rhinebeck, NY. Born August 5, 1948 in Kingston she was the daughter of the late William and Beatrice Crosby.
For many years, she owned and operated with her husband, Great Scot Kennels in Saugerties. She loved Scottish Terriers and bred many champions which she would show all over the east coast. She was a proud member of the Scottish Terrier Club of America and of Greater New York.
Survivors include her husband, Laurence "Larry" Walthers, two step sons: Mark (Christine) Walthers of Schenectady, NY and Jeffrey (Michele) Walthers of Glen Cove, NY. Three grandchildren: Hudson, Elaine and Milo Walthers.
Her Funeral Service will be held 10:00 AM Thursday at the Seamon-Wilsey Funeral Home, Inc. Cor. of John & Lafayette STs., Saugerties. Burial will follow in the Blue Mt. Cemetery.
