Patricia Looby Obituary
Patricia Ann Looby, 71, of Malden Tpk., died on Wednesday, March 4, 2026, at Vassar Brothers Hospital. She was born in Schenectady, the only child of the late Norman and Patricia (Elliott) Whitaker.
She is survived by her husband, Daniel; and her children, Joshua, Bree, and Lauren. She was predeceased by her aunt, Francis Elliott.
A graduate of St. Rose, she continued her education, earning a Master’s degree from the University at Albany. Patti loved art and going to the theater for various plays and movies. She was an elementary school teacher for many years before becoming a stay at home mother.
Her Funeral Service will be held 6pm Tuesday at the Seamon-Wilsey Funeral Home. Visitation will begin at 4pm. Burial will be at a later date in the Katsbaan Cemetery. Condolences may be shared with the family at SeamonWilseyFuneralHome.com
