SAUGERTIES...Patricia M. Schweizer, 63, of Emerick Rd., died on Thursday, June 3, 2021 at her residence surrounded by family. She was born on July 9, 1957 in Teaneck, NJ to the late Robert D. and Mary C. McGahn Smeallie. An area resident for eighteen years, she was employed at the Saugerties Price Chopper for sixteen years. She could best be described as "Plain Jane" she didn't need the frills or glamour, in fact she enjoyed the simple things life had to offer.
That could be said for her lifestyle but not about the love she had for family, her husband of thirty years Gene; children, Billy (Jolene) Schweizer and Melissa Schweizer; brother, Bruce Smeallie; sister, Kathleen Goodell; brother in law, Greg Goodell; grandchildren, Jameson and Ophelia; many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her sister Karen Phelan and brother in law Frank Phelan.
