SAUGERTIES…Pauline L. Leong, 90, of Saugerties died Thursday, November 9, 2023 at her residence surrounded by her family. Born August 25, 1933 in Canton, China she was the daughter of the late You Lee and Kam Dang Joe. She was married for 61 years and treasured her role as wife, mother, and grandmother. She loved her children and grandchildren and would sacrifice anything for them.
She pursued a career in Nursing when her children left for college and enjoyed becoming a traveling LPN and caregiver in Ulster County for over 40 years. Pauline made friends wherever she went and was a very confident and strong person with an amazing sense of humor that impressed and surprised everyone.
Predeceased by her husband, William Leong in 2019, survivors include four children: Russell Leong of Arlington, MA, Helene Leong of Richmond, VA., William Leong (Wife, Charlotte) of Reading, MA. and Darryl Leong of Saugerties, NY. Three grandchildren: Lily, Kevin and Lucas Leong
