Peter R. Minkler, Jr.

Peter R. Minkler, Jr., 38, of Vineyard Ave., died Sunday, July 28, 2024 at his home. He was born on July 12, 1986 to Bernadette Swanson and the late Peter R. Minkler. A 2004 Saugerties High School Graduate, he furthered his education at Ulster Community College earning a Bachelor's Degree in Science. After college, he was employed for many years at Central Hudson. Peter enjoyed playing golf and tennis with his friends and claimed to be the king of Mario Kart. He loved going to the beach.

Survivors include his mom, Bernadette Deibert; brothers, Ryan (Chrissy) Deibert and Christopher Deibert; sisters, Melissa (Anthony) Naccarato and Courtney (Jimmy) Mullen; his nieces and nephews were his greatest joy, Kaden, Mason, Kaylee, Anthony Jr., Maggie and Colton; aunts, Donna Swanson, Jacqueline (John) Chewens and Joanne Malloy; maternal grandmother, Theresa Swanson and many cousins and friends. He was predeceased by his father in 1989; paternal grandparents, Earl and Jeanine Minkler and maternal grandfather, Richard Swanson.

His Funeral Service will be held 10 am Saturday at the Seamon-Wilsey Funeral Home Inc. Visitation will be held Friday from 4- 7 pm.
