Richard Benn Obituary
Richard H. Benn, 58, of Katrine Lane, died Friday, Oct. 25, 2024 at the Northern Dutchess Hospital, Rhinebeck, NY after a lengthy illness. Born October 11, 1966 in Kingston he was the son of the late Richard Benn and Alice Bruck. For over 20 years he was employed at Price Chopper in Saugerties. He was also the landscaper at Trinity Cemetery in Saugerties for many years. He was an avid Buffalo Bills and enjoyed target shooting and trips to the ocean.
Survivors include his wife, Pamalla Benn, his mom, Alice and her husband Tom Bruck of Villages, Fla. three children: Shaun, Vincenzo and Marissa Mitchell. His siblings: Michael Benn, Deborah (Zachariah) Libermann and Breeze Blume, three grandchildren Leah, Shaun and Oliver Mitchell, and several nieces and nephews also survive.
His Service of Remembrance will be held 8:30 PM Monday at the Seamon-Wilsey Funeral Home, Inc. Cor. of John & Lafayette Sts., Saugerties. Friends will be received on Monday from 7-8:30 PM.
