Richard J. O'Gorman

SAUGERTIES - Richard J. "Rich (Tink)” O'Gorman, 68, of Sterley Ave. died Saturday evening, August 2, 2025, surrounded by his family at the home of his sister in Ravena, NY.  Born November 15, 1956 in Brooklyn he was the son of the late Richard and Bernadette O'Gorman.  An area resident since 1969 he previously lived in Staten Island. Rich was a graduate of St. Mary of the Snow School and Saugerties High School.  He was employed at Methods Tooling in Mt. Marion for 40 years and was a huge Mets, Rangers and NY Giants fan.  

Survivors include two daughters: Lacey Guerrero of Myrtle Beach and Amber O'Gorman of Coeymans. A son, Corey O'Gorman of Myrtle Beach.  Three sisters: Marciana O'Gorman of Saugerties, Bernadette Morris of Delmar and Maureen (Wes) Cunningham of Ravena.  Five grandchildren: Alayna, Evyn, Natalie, Onyx, and Domias, and several nieces and nephews also survive.

His Funeral Procession will form 9:30 AM Thursday at the Seamon-Wilsey Funeral Home, Inc. Cor. of John & Lafayette Sts., Saugerties thence to St. Mary of the Snow RC Church where at 10:00 AM a Mass of Christian Burial will be offered.  Burial will be in St. Mary's Cemetery.  Friends will be received Wednesday from 2-4pm and 7-9pm. Expressions of condolence may be shared with the family on Rich’s Tribute Wall at SeamonWilseyFuneralHome.com
