Rita M. (Eberle) Hancock

WOODSTOCK….Rita M. Hancock, 90, of Harder Rd. peacefully passed on Monday, April 5, 2021 at the Ferncliff Nursing Home.   Born June 15, 1930 in Collinsville, Ill. She was the daughter of the late Joseph and Mary Eberle.  

            In her earlier years,  she was an avid bowler, bingo player, and member of the Kingston Senior travel club. A holder of a variety of jobs from switchboard operator, cafeteria lady, bank clerk, and the most important being Mom. Predeceased by her husband, Phillip and son Francis Hancock, survivors include two daughters: Kathryn Wilson of Algonquin, Ill. and Gail Hancock-Huttel (William) of Woodstock,  NY.  Five grandchildren Victoria, Scott, Timothy, Marissa, Jeanette, 1 great granddaughter Madison, and several nieces and nephews also survive.

          Her Funeral Service will be held 12:30 PM Sunday at the Seamon-Wilsey Funeral Home, Inc. Cor. of John & Lafayette Sts., Saugerties.  Friends will be received on Sunday from 11:00 –12:30 PM.  Face masks and social distancing rules to be observed.
