Robert Pomeroy

MOUNT MARION…..Robert Pomeroy, 88, of Country Club Drive died Saturday, January 21, 2023 at the Ten Broeck Commons Nursing Home.  Born January 4, 1935 in Kingston.   A veteran of the United States Army he was honorably discharged.  Bob was employed for many years as a mechanic at Greco Motors in Saugerties. After leaving Greco Motors, Bob worked for many years with his wife in their lawn care business.

Bob was an avid bowler at the Saugerties Bowlers Club and Hoe Bowl on the Hill, he also enjoyed the outdoors hunting and fishing.

Survivors include his wife, Carol, with whom he recently celebrated their 55th Wedding Anniversary.  Two sons: Walter John Hutton of Hurley and Robert Pomeroy of Palenville.  Three daughters: Sabrina Pomeroy of GA., Cheryl Pomeroy of AL, and Carol Gilbert of Kingston.  He was predeceased by a sister, Mary Jane Pomeroy and a son, Larry Hutton.    Friends will be received on Friday from 4:00 PM-6:00PM at the Seamon-Wilsey Funeral Home, Inc.
