SAUGERTIES - Ronald C. Bogart, Sr., 86, of George Sickle Rd. died Monday, December 2, 2024 at the Golden Hill Rehab Facility. Born January 11, 1938 in Kingston he was the son of the late Chester and Catherine Bogart-Kordzikowski. Employed for over 48 years as a butcher, at the Grand Union in Rhinebeck for a good majority of that time. Ron was a active member of the Saugerties Antique Auto Club where he served also as its treasurer. He belonged to the AACA, DCCA and HET Auto Clubs. He also served in the National Guard.
Survivors include three daughters: Catherine (Richard) Hutter of Woodstock, Jennifer Bogart of Saugerties, Tammy Struber of Kingston. Two sons, Ronald (Kristen) Bogart, Jr. of High Falls and John Bogart of New Jersey. Four brothers: Robert Bogart, Frank , Richard and David Kordzikowski, eight Grandchildren, one great grandchild and several nieces and nephews also survive.
His Funeral Service will be held 10 am Friday at the Trinity Evangelical Church, 1 Spring St., Kingston . Friends will be received on Thursday 2-4 and 7-9 PM at the Seamon-Wilsey Funeral Home, Inc.
