Rose Oliveri

SAUGERTIES....Rose Ann Oliveri, 62, of Redwood Rd., died Thursday June 23, 2022 at the Golden Hill Nursing Home. She lived a simple life filled with enjoying those around her. It didn't matter where she was or how she was feeling, she was always making those around her laugh or smile. She loved creativity adding color to everything around her, including her cheery outfits. In the summer she enjoyed tending to her gardens and in the winter crocheting and needlework. But most of all she loved and valued spending time with her grandchildren.

Rose was born in Coventry, Rhode Island on December 28, 1959 to the late Joseph and Eva Coutu Churnetski. She relocated to Saugerties as a young girl where she stayed and raised her family. She was predeceased by her partner of 35 years, Peter Santa.

Caring mother of three children; Acacia (Jon) White of Kingston, Seann Oliveri of Rotterdam and John (Marianne) Santa of Long Island; loving grandmother to Piper, Fletcher and Penny White; sibling of Jay (Melissa Williams) Churnetski and Tricia Churnetski; aunt and cousin to several more relatives. 

Her visitation will be held Wednesday from 5:30-7:30 pm at the Seamon-Wilsey Funeral Home Inc., corner of John and Lafayette Sts., Saugerties. A memorial tribute will take place at 7:30 pm.
