SAUGERTIES…. Rose M. Sylvester, 83, of Main St. died Wednesday, February 15, 2023. Born January 18, 1940 in Brooklyn she was the daughter of the late John and Monica Newman. A 38 year resident of Saugerties she was employed as a Register Nurse doing private duty for many years.
Predeceased by her husband, Robert in 2018, survivors include several nieces and nephews. Her funeral service will be held 10:00 AM Monday at the Seamon-Wilsey Funeral Home, Inc. Cor. of John & Lafayette Sts., Saugerties. Burial will follow in the Chestnut Hill Cemetery. Friends will be received on Monday from 9:00 AM-10:00 AM.
