Ruth Preston-Ringel Obituary
Ruth Preston Ringel, passed away peacefully on July 15, 2025, at Ten Broeck Commons Nursing Home. Born on July 29, 1953, in Dallas, Texas, to the late Edgar and Genevieve Hasie Wilson, Ruth's vibrant spirit and kind heart touched the lives of many throughout her 71 years.
Ruth's journey began in the warmth of Dallas, where she cultivated a love for the arts. Ruth spent many fulfilling years at Loretta's Art Supply in Woodstock, NY, where she not only provided materials but also inspiration to countless artists in the area.
Ruth was predeceased by her beloved husband in 2020, with whom she shared a lifetime of memories.
Visitation will be held on Thursday from 1-2 pm at the Seamon-Wilsey Funeral Home Inc. Her funeral service will begin at 2 pm.
