Salvatore DiSclafani Obituary
WEST PALM BEACH….. Salvatore DiSclafani, 97, formerly of Mt. Marion died Wednesday, August 30, 2023 at the Trust Bridge Hospice. Born April 6, 1926 in Springfield, Ill. he was the son of the late Frank and Mariana DiSclafani. A veteran of World War II, Sal served in the US Army. An area resident for many years he was employed for over 30 as a computer programmer at IBM in Kingston. He was a member of the IBM Quarter Century Club and the Bethel Assemby of God.
Predeceased by his wife, Anna, in 2006, survivors include two sons: Frank of Mt. Marion and Peter (Rose) DiSclafani of Mt. Tremper. Four grandchildren and several nieces and nephews also survive. He was predeceased by a son, Salvatore Jr. and a daughter, Mariana Hull.
His Funeral Service will be held 12 Noon Saturday, September 9, 2023 at the Seamon-Wilsey Funeral Home, Inc. Cor. of John & Lafayette Sts., Saugerties. Interment with military honors will follow in the Mt. Marion Cemetery. Friends will be received on Saturday from 11:00- 12 noon.
