SAUGERTIES....Sharon K. Conrad, 81, of Kalina Drive, died Tuesday, October 19, 2021 at her residence surrounded by her loving family. Born December 1, 1939 in Grand Island, Nebraska, she was the daughter of the late Samuel and Edna Miller. An area resident since 1976, she previously resided in Topeka, KS and Queens, NY. Sharon was an avid reader and a lifelong Yankee fan. One of her favorite pastimes was taking cruises to Bermuda with her husband and their friends.
Sharon was a dedicated wife and mother who worked tirelessly to ensure that her husband, daughters, and grandchildren were always cared for. Predeceased by her husband John in 2018, survivors include five daughters: Reene (Steve) Wittenbach of Topeka, KS, Michele (Jeff) Geertsema, Stacey (Mike) Hopf, and Jennifer (Eric) Nelson, all of Saugerties, and Sara (Reuben) McAuley of Austin, TX; twelve grandchildren; five great grandchildren, a niece, and two nephews.
Friends will be received on Monday from 2-4pm and from 7-9pm. Her Funeral Service will be held at 10am on Tuesday at the Seamon-Wilsey Funeral Home, Inc., corner of John & Lafayette Streets in Saugerties.
