Stephen Salisbury Obituary
CATSKILL -- Stephen W. Salisbury, 74, of Laurel Lane and formerly of 1st St. in Saugerties died Friday, July 12, 2024. Born November 6, 1949 in Kingston he was the son of the late Elting and Mary Gambino Salisbury. He was employed for over 35 years as a Union Painter for Local #155, Poughkeepsie. He was a former member of the Saugerties Elks Lodge and a current member of the Saugerties Knights of Columbus, Council #4053. In his younger days, Steve played guitar in a very popular band that played in all the clubs up in and around Hunter Mt. Survivors include his significant other, Katherine Craft, a step daughter, Jennifer Sampson and several dear cousins.
A Service of Rememberance will be held 2PM Thursday, July 25, 2024 with burial to follow in St. Mary's Cemetery. Friends will be received on Thursday, July 25, 2024 prior to the service from 1-2 PM. Arrangements are under the direction of the Seamon-Wilsey Funeral Home, Inc. Cor. of John & Lafayette Sts., Saugerties.
