She was fondly known as “Nanny Sue” to many, both children and adults, related or not Her door was always open for anyone, anytime, for anything. Whether it be for a cup of tea and conversation, to feeding hungry bellies, or a safe place to rest your head, she was there.

Her hobbies included both knitting and crochet. With her experience and talent she’s made everything from mittens and slippers to afghans, Christening gowns, Barbie clothes and more. She enjoyed/cooking, arts and crafts, and collecting porcelain dolls. She has a large variety of over 200+ collector dolls which she kept displayed year-round throughout her home.
