Suzanne C. LeBlanc, 85, of Hill St. died Sunday, June 7, 2026 at her residence surrounded by her family. Born October 17, 1940 in Buffalo she was the daughter of the late Leon and Irene Ruszczyk. She received her Masters Degree in Education from SUNY Plattsburgh and began a long teaching career in the Saugerties School System. She was also a previous owner of The Buttonhole, a fabric shop on Partition St. in Saugerties.
Active in the community she was a member of the Saugerties Monday Club, Saugerties Girls Community Club, and a Parishioner of St. Mary of the Snow RC Church. She was also a former Trustee of the Saugerties Village Board.
She was predeceased by her husband, Ronald in 2016. Survivors include three sons, John LeBlanc of Manhattan, Todd (Annmarie) LeBlanc of Long Island and Andrew (Melissa) LeBlanc of Carmel, IN; a daughter, Katherine LeBlanc of NYC; sister, Julie McCullough of Clarence; six grandchildren, Brian, Chris, Rachel, Charlie, Kevin and Madeline and several nieces and nephews.
Her Funeral Procession will form 9:15 AM Friday at the Seamon-Wilsey Funeral Home, Inc. Cor. of John & Lafayette Sts., Saugerties thence to St. Mary of the Snow RC Church where at 10:00 AM a Mass of Christian Burial will be offered. Friends will be received Thursday from 3:00 - 6:00 PM.
