Obituary

SAUGERTIES…. Thomas E. Varesi of Joseph’s Drive died Monday, April 4, 2022 at the Ten Broeck Commons Nursing Home.  Born May 5, 1945 in Staten Island he was the son of the late Edward and Josephine Varesi.  An area resident since 2020 he was previously employed as a Supervisor of Carpentry at the NYC Housing Dept. in Manhattan.

A parishioner of St. Sylvester RC Church on Staten Island, Tom served as a usher and lector.  He was a car enthusiast and enjoyed collecting coins.

Survivors include his wife Charlotte, three daughters, Rachel and her husband, Nick Rubino of Saugerties, Erica Varesi of Staten Island and Jennifer Varesi of Hawthorne.  Friends will be received 3:00-6:00 PM  Sunday at the Seamon-Wilsey Funeral Home, Inc.
