William A. Cragan

WEST HURLEY - William A. Cragan, 86, of John St. died Monday, April 14, 2025 at the Ivy Lodge. Born March 21, 1939 in Kingston he was the son of the late Henry and Frances Cragan. A veteran of the US Army, he was employed at IBM in Kingston for many years. He was a dedicated father, son, brother, husband and friend who was always there to lend a helping hand to those in need, and to provide steadfast support to his family and friends.

Predeceased by his loving wife, Marianne, survivors include two daughters:

Pilar (John) Morgan of Staatsburg, Erin (Matthew) Way of Hamburg, a son, Marc Cassidy of Rosendale. Four grandchildren: Evan Rivera, Silas Morgan, Samuel and Kellan Way.  A great grandson, Omri Rivera, a brother, Thomas (Marge) Cragan, his sister, Lucille Kolosky. 

He was predeceased by his siblings: Maryann Maines, Henry Cragan and Frances Cragan.

His Funeral Procession will form 10:15 am  Monday at the Seamon-Wilsey Funeral Home, Inc., Cor. of John & Lafayette Sts., Saugerties thence to St. Mary of the Snow RC Church where at 11:00 AM a Mass of Christian Burial will be offered.  Interment will follow in St. Peter's Cemetery, Rosendale.
