William D. Garzione

SAUGERTIES….William D. Garzione, 95, of Appletree Dr. died Monday, January 18, 2021 at the Kingston Hospital .  Born May 3, 1925 in Newburgh he was the son of the late Anthony and Anna Pucino Garzione.  A veteran of World War II he served in the US Navy.

            Bill was employed by IBM in Kingston for over 35 years.  He was a parishioner of St. Mary of the Snow Church and Holy Name Society, a member of the Saugerties Knights of Columbus Council #4536 and a life member of Saugerties American Legion Post #72.

            Predeceased by his wife Marion, a son, William K. Garzione and  brothers, Rocco, Victor, Adam, David, Nicholas, Anthony and Patrick Garzione.   Survivors include two grand daughters: Jacqueline Rose and Jenelle Ferine.   Five great grandchildren: Kaeli, Gavin, Jakob, Arianna and Alec, a great great grandson, Jaxon and several nieces and nephews also survive.

            His Funeral Procession will form 9:30 AM Friday at the Seamon-Wilsey Funeral Home, Inc. Cor. of John & Lafayette Sts. Thence to St. Mary of the Snow RC Church where at 10:00 AM a Mass of Christian Burial will be offered.  Burial with military honors will be held in St. Mary’s Cemetery, Barclay Heights.  Friends will be received Thursday 2-4 and 7-9 PM.   Face coverings and social distancing rules to be observed.   Further obituary information and condolences to the family may be shared on Bill’s Tribute Wall @SeamonWilseyFuneralHome.com
