Our history dates back to the early 1900's as the Seamon Brothers furniture store and undertaking on Main Street in the village of Saugerties, owned by George and John Seamon. Harry Smith took the business over and relocated to Partition Street and in 1956, Harold Wilsey and his partner at that time, Willet Overbaugh, purchased the business. A year later, they moved the funeral home to its current location at the corner of John and Lafayette Streets, the former residence of Terry and Helen Staples, owners of the Staples Brickyard.

The next generation of Wilsey family members joined the firm in 1979 as Harold's sons Jack M. Wilsey earned his college degree and obtained his NYS Funeral Director license followed by H. Mark Wilsey in 1984.

The third generation, Eric M. Wilsey, Jack's son earned his degree and obtained his NYS Funeral Directors license in 2009 bringing us to today. Over 130 years of continued funeral service to the residents of Saugerties and surrounding areas.
