Claire Teetsell Obituary

WOODSTOCK…Claire J Teetsell died Monday September 24, 2018 at the Northern Dutchess Hospital in Rhinebeck. Born January 27, 1938 in Astoria Queens she was the daughter of the late Charles and Virginia Adams. An area resident since 1961 she was employed for over 24 years at IBM in Kingston as a programmer. Active with the Ulster Literacy program she enjoyed playing bridge, tennis and keeping up on world affairs.

Survivors include her husband Grant Teetsell and son Matthew Teetsell both of Woodstock, many nieces and nephews including Kris and Ward Backhaus of Saugerties.

Her Memorial Service will be held 3:00 PM Monday October 1, 2018 at the Seamon Wilsey Funeral Home Cor. of John & Lafayette Sts. Friends will be received Monday 2:00-3:00 PM. Family suggests donations in her memory be made to Ulster Literacy. Expressions of condolence may be shared with the family on Claire’s tribute wall @SeamonWilseyFuneralHome.
