Mt. MARION… Henry J. Dussol, 94, of Churchland Road died Saturday, December 29, 2018 at the Golden Hill Nursing and Rehabilitation Center. Born April 24, 1924 in Englewood, New Jersey, he was the son of the late Lucien and Irma Dussol. A Veteran of the US Army, he served during World War II in England and at West Point. He was honorably discharged in 1946. An area resident for many years, he owned and operated his own mushroom business and was employed at Colony Liquor Distributors.
His time with his family was his highest priority. Survivors include his wife, Genevieve (Jean) with whom he recently celebrated his 68th Wedding Anniversary, A Daughter, Susan (Bruce) Luhrs of Weare, NH and a Son, Richard (Yvonne) Dussol of Glastonbury, CT. 4 Grandchildren: Matthew Luhrs, Marci Hendrick, Greg Dussol and Michelle Gaudreau. 5 Great Grandchildren: Finley Hendrick, Vivian Gaudreau, Dominic, Katalena and Gavin Luhrs also survive. He was pre-deceased by his brother, Lucien and his sister, Annette.
His Funeral Service will be held 10:00 AM Thursday at the Seamon-Wilsey Funeral Home, Inc. Cor. of John & Lafayette Sts. Friends and family will be received Wednesday 2-4 and 7-9 PM. Interment with military honors will follow in the Mt. Marion Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Ulster County SPCA.
