James R. Whitehead, Sr.

SAUGERTIES…James R. Whitehead, Sr., 76, of Canoe Hill Road died Sunday, January 13, 2019 at his residence.   Born August 27, 1942 in Kingston he was the son of the late Milliard and Katherine Whitehead.   A lifetime area resident he was formerly employed by Hudson Cement, Miron Concrete, and Dwyer Leasing.

            Survivors include a Son, James R. Jr. of Saugerties.  2 Daughters: Michelle Hotaling of Palenville and Sherri Wood of New Hampshire. His partner of 35 years, Donna Smith, 3 Step Sons: Manuell of NJ, Carlos of Ohio and David Collazo of Georgia. 2 Sisters: Helen Asgian and Kay Dixon, 9 Grandchildren, 2 Great Grandchild and several nieces and nephews also survive.

            His Funeral Service will be held privately.   Arrangements are under the direction of the Seamon-Wilsey Funeral Home, Inc. Cor. Of John & Lafayette Sts., Saugerties.  Expressions of condolence may be shared with James’s Family on his tribute wall @SeamonWilseyFuneralHome
