Jeanne E. Kinns

SAUGERTIES…Jeanne E. Kinns, 91, of Manorville Rd., died Tuesday, June 25, 2019 at the Kingston Hospital. She was born in Brooklyn on July 9, 1927 to the late John and Elizabeth Herewith Stowell. For many years she worked as a switchboard operator for Met Life/United Heathcare and Benedictine Hospital. Jeanne previously resided in Woodstock and Kingston before relocating to Saugerties.

Jeanne was predeceased by her 1st husband Kenneth J Whispell, 2nd husband James Kinns, her sister Joan VanLoan and her brother John Stowell.

She is survived by her son, Kevin Whispell & Barbara of Waterloo SC, Daughter Dawn Stevens & (Scott Michel) of New Paltz, Melodie Whispell & (Kenneth Benson) of Saugerties, Cheryl & Tammy.  She is also survived by her loving & caring niece Donna Brice and brother in law Donald VanLoan, grandchildren:  Ryan & Tyler Keener along with many other nieces, nephews, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Her Funeral Arrangements are under the direction of the Seamon-Wilsey Funeral Home Inc., cor. of John and Lafayette Sts., Saugerties. A Private Memorial Service will be at a later date.
