Carmita Reynolds

SAUGERTIES…. Carmita R. “Corky” Reynolds, 87, of  Old Rte. 9W died Wednesday, November 10, 2021 at the Green Meadow Nursing Home, Catskill after a brief illness.   Born October 21, 1934 in Saugerties she was the daughter of the late Harold and Susie Whitaker.

     For many years Corky was employed at the Grand Union in Saugerties.  She was an avid bowler at the Saugerties Bowlers Club Tuesday Nite League and enjoyed her trips to Atlantic City Casino’s.   Family was important to her.

     Predeceased by her husband, Jim, in 2009, survivors include three daughters: Paula and her husband, Angelo Lozado of Virginia, Sandra Rightmyer of Greenville and Tracy and her husband, Bruce Snyder of Saugerties.  Two sons, James and his wife Joan Reynolds of Cherry Valley and Larry and his wife Cassie Reynolds of Florida.  Eight grandchildren, 13 great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews also survive.  She was predeceased by her son in law, Barry Rightmyer, a grand daughter, Alyssa Farkas, a grandson, Donald Reynolds,  a brother, Lawrence Whitaker, a sister in law, Muriel Whitaker and a cousin, Winnie Guerriere.

     Her Funeral Service will be held 10:00 AM Tuesday at the Seamon-Wilsey Funeral Home, Inc. Cor. of John & Lafayette Sts., Saugerties.  Interment will follow in the Blue Mt.
