Carol L. Loesch

SAUGERTIES.... Carol L. Loesch, 71, of Louis Ave. died Monday, August 9, 2021 at her residence surrounded by her family.   Born September 8, 1949 in Corona, NY she was the daughter of the late William and Caroline Holden.
A Saugerties area resident for over 47 years she previously resided in Shandaken, NY.  She owned and operated "Honey Bear Day Care" for over 15 years.  Carol was a member with her husband of the Saugerties Power Boat Association, the Saugerties Girls Community Club and the Saugerties Senior Citizens. Carol was an avid gardener, loved crafts, and mostly, being a wonderful wife and mother. Her greatest joy was her family. 
Predeceased by her husband, Al, in 2013 survivors include a son Craig and his wife Kim Loesch and a daughter, Kimberlee and her husband, Fred Costello.  Two sisters: Patricia Slutskin of Sun City, Fla. and Nancy Hara of Batavia, ILL. a brother, William Holden of Bethpage, LI.  A granddaughter, Cameron Costello of Saugerties.  Several nieces and nephews also survive.
Her Funeral Service will be held 4:00 PM Thursday at the Seamon-Wilsey Funeral Home, Inc. Cor. of John & Lafayette Sts., Saugerties.  Friends will be received Thursday 2-4:00 PM.
