Ethel Reece

SAUGERTIES….. Ethel C. Reece, 78, of Patch Rd., died Sunday, November 21, 2021 at the Westchester Medical Center in Valhalla.  Born February 1, 1943 in Seymour, Ind. she was the daughter of the late Clyde and Marcella Haulk William.  A Saugerties area resident since 2018 she previously resided in Chicago where she was employed as an insurance underwriter for North America Insurance Co.  Ethel loved to read, feed the birds, tend to her garden and take long walks.

            Survivors include two daughters: Marlene (Henry) Sommers of Saugerties and Karen Reece of Chicago; son, Scott Reece of IL; three grandchildren: Vanessa Melendez, Sam Reece and Joshua Reece; great granddaughter, Lalani Smith; two brothers, Roy Sampson and Kenny Haulk several nieces and nephews.
