James Lombardo Obituary

James Peter Lombardo known to his loved ones as "Jim" and " Lump" by his friends was born on September 13, 1946 and passed on the evening of April 4, 2024 where he made his home in Saugerties, NY, surrounded by the mountains and the fishing spots he loved.

Jim is survived by his sons Shawn (Tina ) and Brian (Rebecca) and his many grandchildren, Shawn, Christiana, Alexis, Jonathan, James, Brian,  Lilliana, Theresa, Gionni, and Amelia: and by his siblings, Adeline, Marguerite (Jim) , Dorothy and Laurence (Teri).  Jim comes from a big Italian family and loved all his nieces , nephews, cousins near and distant. Jim had many dear friends especially James LaRocca who he considered another "brother." He was predeceased by his parents John and Vivian and his many other siblings and extended family who are all welcoming him in heaven. Together they are making a joyful noise!

Jim was a veteran having served his country in the Army. 

Although not formally trained, he was a formidable chef, and friends and family in Saugerties enjoyed many a meal at his ever-expanding table. 

He surely will be missed by all who loved him.

Celebration of life will be held in Saugerties, NY date to follow.
