Kathryn M. Ulzheimer

SAUGERTIES….. Kathryn M. Ulzheimer, 87, of Red Maple Rd. died Saturday, November 27, 2021 at the Kingston Hospital.  Born September 17, 1934 in the Bronx she was the daughter of the late John and Emma Theiss.  An area resident since 1990 she previously resided in Spring Valley where she was employed in the East Ramapo School District as the head cook.

Kathryn was a parishioner of St. Mary of the Snow RC and the Saugerties Columbiette’s.  She was a volunteer at the food pantry in Saugerties. 

Predeceased by her husband, Albert in 2002, survivors include a daughter, Carol and her husband, Berhard Spirig of Saugerties.  A sister, Joan Edwards of Ct.,  three grandchildren: Matthew Poliseno, Emma and her husband Lee Singer and Julian Spirig.    A great grandchild, Quinn Singer and several nieces and nephews also survive.  She was predeceased by a sister, Dorothy Peeters.

Her Funeral Procession will form 9:00 AM Thursday at the Seamon-Wilsey Funeral Home, Inc. Cor. Of John & Lafayette Sts. Thence to St. Mary of the Snow RC Church where at 9:30 AM a Mass of Christian Burial will be offered.  Friends will be received Wednesday 2-4 and 7-9 PM.  Expressions of condolence may be shared with the family at SeamonWilseyFuneralHome.com
