Marjorie J. Vincent

KINGSTON…. Marjorie J. Vincent, 84, of Deer Run Rd., passed away Wednesday, November 10, 2021 at Vassar Brothers Hospital, Poughkeepsie.   Born May 14, 1937 in Brooklyn, she was the treasured daughter of the late Philip and Sarah Goldstein and beloved mother of Lianne Vincent and Jordana Vincent.  Relocating to Woodstock in 1976 and residing in Kingston for the last 25 years, she was a dedicated employee of Dr. Govind Chaturvedi for many years.

She leaves behind her husband, Raymond Bates, whom she was married to for over four decades; two daughters and son-in-law: Lianne Vincent of Saugerties, and Jordana Vincent and Justin Philipson of Delmar; two grandchildren: Gabriella Marie Vincent and Juan Robert Vincent; great granddaughter, Violet Marie Vincent; and her cherished cat: Luke.

Marjorie was brave and courageous until the very end, describing her life as a “very good run,” filled with love and adventure, and having no regrets. She was adored by many life-long friends who will deeply miss her.

Her Funeral Service was held privately.  Arrangements were under the direction of the Seamon-Wilsey Funeral Home, Inc., Saugerties.   Family suggests donations in her memory be made to the Town of Saugerties Animal Shelter or the Ulster County SPCA.
