Michael Granoto Obituary
SAUGERTIES - Michael W. Granoto, 77, of Manorville Rd., died Wednesday, April 3, 2024 at the Northern Dutchess Hospital. Born April 27, 1946, in Glasco, he was the son of the late Michael and Lillian Provenzano Granato. A lifetime area resident, Michael was a veteran of the US Army during the Vietnam War and was recognized for his honorable service with two Purple Hearts. An electrician by trade, he took pride in building his own home complete with a wine cellar, where he enjoyed winemaking each fall.
Survivors include his wife, Beverly, a son, Travis Granoto of Saugerties and a daughter: Maria Johnson of Cranford, a sister, Bernadette (William Peetom) Andreassen and two grandchildren also survive.
His funeral service will be held privately. Arrangements are under the direction of Seamon-Wilsey Funeral Home, Inc. Cor of John & Lafayette Sts., Saugerties. Expressions of condolence may be shared with the family on Michael's Tribute Wall at SeamonWilseyFuneralHome.com
