Mildred A. "Millie" DeLong

MOUNT MARION…..Mildred A. “Millie” DeLong of Country Club Drive died Friday, March 31, 2023 at the Golden Hill Health Related Facility.  Born November 8, 1929 in Saugerties she was the daughter of the late Arthur and Georgia Knoeppel.  A lifelong resident, she was employed at Ferroxcube, the Benedictine Hospital Physical Therapy Department and Lezette Express. She was also known for her many bus trips for sleigh rides, leaf peeping , vacations and gambling. Later in life she did crafts and supplied homemade shopping bags to all. 

Predeceased by her husband, Emil “Pete” DeLong survivors include two daughters: Gina DeLong of Hurley and Beverly DeLong of Kingston, a sister, Shirley Holl of Mass.   She was predeceased by a sister, Charlotte Glennon.

Her Funeral Service was held privately with the burial in the Mt. Marion Cemetery.   Family suggests donations in her memory be made to the Mt. Marion Fire Dept., PO Box 75, Mt. Marion, NY  12456.   Arrangements were under the direction of the Seamon-Wilsey Funeral Home, Inc.
