SAUGERTIES…. William L. “Bill” Kirchner, 59, of Prospect St. died suddenly Monday, December 10, 2018 at the Kingston City Hospital. Born Aug. 10, 1959 in Hudson he is the son of Barbara Kirchner and the late Wilhelm Kirchner. An area resident for many years he was employed for over 37 years with Spectrum as a supervisor. He started with the company in 1981 when it was known as “Vidi-Com” in Saugerties and saw it grow and change to become “Cable Vision”, “Time Warner” and now “Spectrum.” He was an avid KC Chiefs football fan, followed Mark Martin in NASCAR, and enjoyed video gaming. His true love was his family however and he never missed any of his son’s lacrosse games whether they were high school, Delhi College or Marist.
Besides his Mother of Saugerties, survivors include his wife, the former Bonnie Baker. A Daughter: Sara Kirchner (Zach Williams) of Hurley and William L Kirchner, Jr. of Saugerties. A Sister, Heidi (Gerard) Keuchler of Long Island, a Brother, Brian Kirchner of Saugerties and his beloved Grandson, Ryder. He is joining his beloved husky “Thor” also known as “B”.
His Funeral Service will be held 10:00 AM Thursday at the Seamon-Wilsey Funeral Home, Inc. Cor. of John & Lafayette Sts. Friends will be received Wednesday 5:00 PM – 9:00 PM.
