William D. Waldron

MT. MARION…… William D. “Bill” Waldron, 60, of Glasco Turnpike died Monday, October 24, 2022 at his residence.   Born December 10, 1961 in Schenectady he was the son of the late David and Frances Waldron.  A lifetime area resident he was a graduate of Saugerties High School Class of 1981 where he lettered in varsity football and wrestling.  He was a former member of the Saugerties Basketball League at the Donlon Auditorium.   He loved the outdoors, fishing, hiking and his work as a heavy equipment operator for Merritt Construction.

Survivors include his wife, the former Jeanne Smith; a son, William “Will” Waldron; a sister, Kathleen (Charles) Merritt; two brothers: Charles “Chuck” Waldron and Chris Waldron; his sister in law, Carole Smith; brother in law, Michael Smith and several nieces and nephews.   He was predeceased by a sister, Mary and brothers: David and Robert Waldron.

His Funeral Service will be held 11:00 AM Saturday at the Seamon-Wilsey Funeral Home, Inc. Cor. of John & Lafayette Sts., Saugerties.   Interment will follow in St. Mary’s Cemetery.   Friends will be received Saturday from 10:00-11:00 AM.  Further obituary information and expressions of condolence may be shared with the family at SeamonWilseyFuneralHome.com
